The most romantic day of the year is right around the corner! Are you ready to show your special someone how much you love them? Valentine’s Day is all about showing someone how much they mean to you and what better way to do that than great food! Here at SkyVue, we offer residents the best overall experiences of any apartments for rent in Pittsburgh. Our top tier amenities and stylish designs are part of it, but we think our attentive resident services (and culinary recs) are where we truly rise above. There are plenty of amazing places to eat in town, but be sure to make your reservations early enough because tables go quick.

In the mood for great Italian food? Head to Butler Street in Lawrenceville where you can wine and dine at Senti, an authentic Italian restaurant. Not only does Senti offer amazing food in their dining rooms, they have a wine bar lounge area.

How about a night on the water? Celebrate your love on the Gateway Clipper with a Romantic Pittsburgh Dining Tour. They offer an amazing buffet with an array of great choices. You can enjoy your dinner while sightseeing around our beautiful city!

Let’s try some seafood! Monterey Bay on Mt. Washington is a wonderful choice for your favorite fish dish. Once you finish your main dish be sure to divulge in one of their delectable desserts! While you’re already on the Mount, make sure to head outside to one of the overlooks so you can see the beautiful city skyline!

Still interested in seafood? Let’s check out The Steelhead Brasserie & Wine Bar located right next to Consol Energy Center inside the Marriott Hotel. They offer a wine bar and lounge area tailored for wine lovers and casual cocktail diners.

Let’s head back down the mountain and check out Grand Concourse. Located in Station Square you will find one of Pittsburgh’s most beautiful dining choices. From Alaskan King Crab Legs to Filet Mignon, the chefs at Grand Concourse choose the menus daily, highlighting seasonal and local offerings.

Now it’s time to check out some steakhouses! As we make our way to Downtown we will find Morton’s The Steakhouse, Eddie Merlot’s and Ruth’s Chris Steak House. T-Bone, New York Strip, Filet Mignon, Prime-Rib, and so on! Before you leave grab some drinks and desserts, you’ll leave your sweetheart nothing but impressed.

Be sure to get those reservations in soon and don’t forget the roses!
